The Angolan president announced the launch of the service’s website https://www.sepe.gov.ao/ao/ on Wednesday on his Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
In the post on Facebook, the Angolan president João Lourenço said that his government recognises that the modernisation of public services is an important factor for the social and economic development of the country.
“It is my determination to continue promoting the construction of a digital society, so I am announcing the launch of a website that provides information and a variety of electronic public services, notably the possibility of downloading textbooks for free from 1st to 6th grade,” the post said.
The website offers the possibility of booking appointments online, payments offers and fines, education, finance, justice, health, public safety and social security services.
The digital tool is intended to reduce waiting times, dematerialise and streamline public services, encourage digital transformation and simplify processes.
The new website also aims to promote integrated and cross-system action among the institutions involved in the provision of public services.
